This study aims to improve student achievement in compiling book reviews through a mind mapping learning model. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects of the study were 36 students of class X IPA-6 SMA Negeri 11 Surabaya even semester 2017/2018 academic year, consisting of 13 students and 23 female students. The research data were obtained through questionnaires and observations. The results showed that there was an increase in student achievement in compiling book reviews through the mind mapping learning model, namely 59.5% in pre-cycle and 64.9% in Cycle I. In Cycle 2, 97.3%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa menyusun resensi buku melalui model pembelajaran mind mapping. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas Kelas X IPA-6 SMA Negeri 11 Surabaya Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 36 siswa, terdidi atas 13 siswa dan 23 siswi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui hasil kuesioner dan hasil pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan prestasi siswa dalam menyusun resensi buku melalui model pembelajaran mind mapping, yaitu 59,5% pada pra siklus dan 64,9% pada Siklus I. Padasiklus 2 sebesar 97,3%.
