IMPROVEMENT OF SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING OUTCOMES BY JIGSAW METHOD ASSISTED BY AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA IN CLASS IV STUDENTS AT SDN 1 JAPAN BABADAN SUBDISTRICT, PONOROGO DISTRICT

Abstrak
This study aims to describe the implementation of the use of audiovisual media-assisted learning jigsaw methods to improve social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SDN 1 Japan Babadan Subdistrict, Ponorogo Regency in the academic year 2019/2020. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. CAR is an activity of collecting, processing, analyzing and summarizing data to determine the level of success of the types of actions carried out by the teacher in the learning process. (Yuliawati, et al, 2012: 17). The results showed that: The ability of teachers with audio-visual media-assisted jigsaw methods in the form of video increased student activity in social studies learning in KD 3.2, which was quite significant because in (a) they had the idea of getting a score increase of 8 points; (b) work together to solve the problem of getting a score increase of 3 points; (c) asking well and exploration gained a 4 point increase in score; (d) take the initiative to solve the problem of getting a score increase of 4 points; (e) having different thoughts on the same problem get a 9 point increase in score; (f) communicating coherently and meaningfully getting a 7 point increase in score; (g) is responsible for obtaining a score increase of 8 points; (h) listened and recorded a score increase of 12 points; (i) creative and independent gained a 3 point increase; (j) responding and giving suggestions decreased by 1 point; (h) report the results verbally and in writing there is no increase in score; and (i) drawing conclusions do not get an increase. .Learning outcomes before learning by jigsaw method assisted by audiovisual media (pre-cycle), the level of mastery learning has only reached 53.33%, after learning in cycle I students who have finished learning if the KKM or KBM is set 75, as many as 11 students or 73.33 % (acquisition value> KKM or KBM) this means an increase of 3 students or 20.00%, whereas when viewed from the first and second cycles, in the first cycle of 11 students or 73.33%, whereas in the second cycle those who finished studying were 12 students or 80.00% (value acquisition> KKM), this increased by 1 student or 6.67%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penggunaan metode pembelajaranjigsaw berbantuanmedia audiovisual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Japan Kecamatan Babadan Kabupaten Ponorogo tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. PTK merupakan kegiatan mengumpulkan, mengolah, menganalisis dan menyimpulkan data untuk menentukan tingkat keberhasilan jenis tindakan yang dilaksanakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran.(Yuliawati, dkk ,2012:17). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Kemampuan guru dengan metode jigsaw berbantuan media audiovisual berupa video meningkatkan aktivitas siswa Kelas IV dalam pembelajaran IPS Tema 7 pada KD 3.2, yang cukup signifikan karena dalam (a) mempunyai gagasan memperoleh kenaikan skor sebanyak 8 point; (b) bekerjasama memecahkan masalah memperoleh kenaikan skor 3 point; (c) bertanya baik dan eksplorasi memperoleh kenaikan skor 4 point; (d) berinisiatif dalam memecahkan masalah mendapatkan kenaikan skor sebanyak 4 point; (e) punya pemikiran berbeda dalam masalah yang sama memperoleh kenaikan skor 9 point; (f) berkomunikasi secara runtut dan bermakna memperoleh kenaikan skor 7 point; (g) bertanggungjawab memperoleh kenaikan skor 8 point; (h) mendengar dan mencatat mendapatkan kenaikan skor sebanyak 12 point; (i) kreatif dan mandiri memperoleh kenaikan skor 3 point; (j) menanggapi dan memberi saran mengalami penurunan skor 1 point; (h) melaporkan hasil secara lisan dan tertulis tidak ada kenaikan skor; dan (i) menarik kesimpulan tidak mendapatkan kenaikan. Hasil belajar sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran dengan metode jigsaw berbantuan media audiovisual (pra siklus), tingkat ketuntasan belajar baru mencapai 53,33%, setelah dilakukan pembelajaran pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas belajar apabila KKM atau KBM ditetapkan 75, sebanyak 11 siswa atau 73,33% (perolehan nilai > KKM atau KBM) hal ini berarti terjadi kenaikan sebanyak 3 siswa atau 20,00%, sedangkan bila dilihat dari siklus I dan II, pada siklus I yang tuntas sebanyak 11 siswa atau 73,33%, sedangkan pada siklus II yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 12 siswa atau 80,00%, (perolehan nilai > KKM)., hal ini terjadi kenaikan sebanyak 1 siswa atau 6,67%.
