Abstrak
The results showed in the first cycle for RPP (plan learning) value of 3.00 (75%), the implementation of learning/teacher activity of 2.95 (74%), student learning outcomes 6.12 (61.22%). Cycle II for RPP value of 3.20 (80%) the implementation of learning/activity of teachers was 3.60 (83%), student learning outcomes 7.05 (70.54%). Cycle III for RPP value of 3.80 (95%), poses the implementation of learning teacher activity 3.80 (95%), student learning outcomes 8.40 (83%). Because it meets the indicators of success according to what researchers are targeting, the study was stopped in the third cycle. Be concluded quite satisfactory and spur teachers to be more creative and innovative in developing learning models. To help uncover and explain the material flat on the fourth grade students to have a strong basic knowledge in particular on the material flat wake of this, it is advisable to use a spiked plank media help in instilling the concepts of flat wake. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan pada siklus I untuk nilai RPP 3,00 (75%), pelaksanaan pembelajaran/aktivitas guru 2,95 (74%), hasil belajar siswa 6,12 (61,22%). Siklus II untuk nilai RPP 3,20 (80%) proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran/aktivitas guru 3,60 (83%), hasil belajar siswa 7,05 (70,54%). Siklus III untuk nilai RPP 3,80 (95%), poses pelaksanaan pembelajaran/aktivitas guru 3,80 (95%), hasil belajar siswa 8,40 (83%). Karena sudah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan sesuai dengan apa yang peneliti targetkan, maka penelitian ini dihentikan pada siklus III. Diperoleh simpulan cukup memuaskan serta memacu guru untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran. Untuk membantu mengungkap dan menjelaskan materi bangun datar pada siswa kelas IV agar memiliki pengetahuan dasar yang kuat khususnya pada materi bangun datar ini, disarankan untuk menggunakan bantuan media papan berpaku dalam menanamkan konsep-konsep bangun datar. Hal ini disesuaikan dengan tingkat pemikiran dan usia siswa kelas IV yang masih dalam tahap realistik (tahap nyata) dan belum dapat memahami hal-hal yang abstrak. Sehingga materi dapat lebih mudah dipahami oleh siswa.
