IMPROVING HISTORY LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER IN CLASS STUDENTS XII-IPS-1 EVEN SEMESTER IN STATE HIGH SCHOOL 6 MADIUN, MADIUN CITY ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018Hartati (SMA Negeri 6 Madiun)

The various negative impacts of using the group work methods should be avoided if only the teacher is willing to spend more time and attention in preparing and constructing group work methods. What is introduced in cooperative learning methods is not just group work, but the structuring. Thus, cooperative learning teaching systems can be defined as structured group work / learning. Included in this structure are five main elements (Johnson & Johnson, 1993), namely positive interdependence, individual responsibility, personal interaction, collaboration skills, and group processes. This research is based on the problem: (a) Does the cooperative learning of the Numbered Head Together model affect the learning outcomes of History? (b) How high is the level of mastery of Learning History material by applying the Numbered Head Together cooperative learning method? The objectives of this study are: (a) To reveal the effect of Numbered Head Together cooperative learning on the Learning History results. (b) Want to know how far the understanding and mastery of the eyes of Learning History after applying the Numbered Head Together cooperative learning model This research uses action research as much as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages: design, activity and observation, reflection, and refinement. The target of this research is Class XII-IPS-1 Students Even Semester at SMA 6 Madiun, Madiun City 2017/2018 Academic Year Data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of analysts it was found that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III namely, cycle I (60%), cycle II (72%), cycle III (77%). The conclusion of this research is the cooperative method of the Numbered Head Together model can positively influence the learning motivation of Class XII-IPS-1 Even Semester Students at SMA 6 Madiun, Madiun City in the Academic Year 2017/2018, and this learning model can be used as an alternative in Studying History. So that in this research activity declared Complete and Successful.
