APPLICATION OF QUANTUM LEARNING MODEL (QUANTUM TEACHING) TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF NERVOUS SYSTEM MATERIAL IN HUMAN CLASS VIII-B MIDDLE SCHOOL 1 SALOPA TASIKMALAYA DISTRICT SEMESTER I (ODD) 2018/2019 ACADEMIC YEAR

Abstrak
The study aims to determine the process of implementing learning Nervous System Material in Humans through Quantum Learning Model (Quantum Teaching) in Class VIII-B SMP Negeri 1 Salopa Tasikmalaya Regency and improve learning outcomes of Class VIII-B Students of SMP Negeri 1 Salopa Tasikmalaya District Nervous System Material Humans through the application of Quantum Teaching Modeling (Quantum Teaching) carried out in 2 cycles with the subjects of Class VIII-B as many as 31 people. Research Procedure consists of 4 stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, action, observation and reflection. Indicators of learning outcomes are in the form of completeness of learning individually or classically in students with complete learning if they have reached 72. Data collection is done by interview, observation, documentation, and evaluation tests carried out in each cycle. Data from the results of the evaluation of the evaluation are processed with quantitative descriptive analysis to describe the state of increasing achievement of each cycle. The results showed that the second cycle was better than the first cycle. Similarly, the learning outcomes in the first cycle were better than the pre-cycle. The pre-cycle class average is 51 and the classical completeness is 47%. In the first cycle the average grade obtained was 63, and classical completeness was 63. There were 19 students who were thoroughly studied, and 12 students who had not yet finished learning. In the second cycle the average class increased by 73, this means an increase of 13. Classical completeness in the second cycle reached 90%. There was an increase of 31% from the first cycle, the total number of students completed was 26, and 5 students did not complete learning. The results of this study, show that learning with Quantum Teaching Model (Quantum Teaching) can improve learning outcomes so that teachers are expected to be able to apply Quantum Learning Model as a variation in Biology learning.Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran Materi Sistem Saraf Pada Manusia melalui Model Pembelajaran Kuantum (Quantum Teaching) di Kelas VIII-B SMP Negeri 1 Salopa Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dan meningkatkan hasil belajar Peserta Didik Kelas VIII-B SMP Negeri 1 Salopa Kabupaten Tasikmalaya Materi Sistem Saraf Pada Manusia melalui penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kuantum (Quantum Teaching) dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan subyek peserta didik Kelas VIII-B sebanyak 31 orang. Prosedur Penelitian terdiri dari 4 tahap di setiap siklusnya, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, observasi dan Refleksi. Indikator hasil belajar berupa tercapainya ketuntasan belajar secara individual maupun klasikalp eserta didik dengan ketuntasan belajar jika telah mencapai nilai 72. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes evaluasi yang dilaksanakan di setiap siklusnya. Data hasil pengamatan nilai evaluasi diolah dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menggambarkan keadaan peningkatan pencapaian keberhasilan tiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus II lebih baik dari pada siklus I. Demikian pula hasil belajar pada siklus I lebih baik dari pada pra siklus. Rata-rata kelas pada pra siklus sebesar 51 dan ketuntasan klasikal 47%. Pada siklus I rata-rata kelas yang diperoleh sebesar 63, dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 63. Terdapat 19 peserta didik yang tuntas belajar, dan 12 peserta didik yang belum tuntas belajar. Pada siklus II rata-rata kelas meningkat sebesar 73, ini berarti terjadi peningkatan sebesar 13. Ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus II mencapai 90%. Terdapat peningkatan sebesar 31% dari siklus I, jumlah peserta didik tuntas adalah 26, dan 5 peserta didik tidak tuntas belajar. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan pembelajaran dengan Model Pembelajaran Kuantum (Quantum Teaching) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sehingga diharapkan guru dapat menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kuantum sebagai variasi dalam pembelajaran Biologi.
