EFFORTS TO IMPROVE STUDENT SKILLS IN WRITING SPEECH TEXT THROUGH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL (CLASS ACTION RESEARCH ON LEARNING INDONESIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE IN CLASS IX-A CIPASUNG ISLAMIC MIDDLE SCHOOL)

Abstrak
Reality in the field, especially in Cipasung Islamic Middle School learning Indonesian language especially class IX-A in writing speech texts is not well implemented learning tends to be boring and less attractive to students. On the other hand there is also a tendency that student activities in learning to write speech texts are still low. In general, this study aims to improve speech text writing skills through a problem based learning model in Class IX-A of Cipasung Islamic Middle School. Classroom Action Research (CAR) method is carried out in class. With the Kemmis and Taggart model, it is based on the consideration that this model is quite simple, so it is easy to understand. Improving the ability of students in learning to write speech text through the problem based learning model, shows that the average value for the first cycle is 70, while the second cycle increases by 81. This proves that "Teachers can plan, implement and evaluate learning effectively using problem based learning model, the student learning outcomes in writing speech texts increase ".Kenyataan di lapangan, khususnya di SMP Islam Cipasung pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya kelas IX-A dalam menulis teks pidato kurang dilaksanakan dengan baik pembelajarannya cenderung membosankan dan kurang menarik minat siswa. Disisi lain juga ada kecenderungan bahwa aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks pidato masih rendah. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks pidato melalui model problem based learning di Kelas IX-A SMP Islam Cipasung. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dilaksanakan di kelas. Dengan model Kemmis dan Taggart, didasarkan pada pertimbangan bahwa model ini cukup sederhana, sehingga mudah dipahami. Peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks pidato melalui model problem based learning, menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata untuk siklus I sebesar 70, sedangkan siklus II meningkat sebesar 81. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa “Guru dapat merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran secara efektif dengan menggunakan model problem based learning, maka hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis teks pidato meningkat”
