Abstrak
The problem is that there is an inactivity of students in participating in teaching and learning activities, especially in science subjects. Students just take science lessons taught by the teacher in the classroom, namely by simply listening to lectures given by the teacher without any responses, criticism, and questions from students to teacher as a feed back or feedback in teaching and learning activities. The desire of students to take part in teaching and learning activities in science subjects tends to decrease, the activities of students in teaching and learning activities tend to be less attention. The formulation of the problem in this study is as follows: Is the media image in science learning about Animal Classification material Based on its Food in class V of Lengkongbarang Elementary School can Increase the Value of Student Learning Outcomes. This research was conducted in Lengkongbarang Elementary School which consisted of 9 people consisting of 6 female students and 3 male students. In this class action research, the factors studied are student learning outcomes. As well as student responses to the teaching model of the Teaching Model skills using the drawing method. This research is a class action research. The class action research process is planned to consist of two cycles. Based on the results of the research obtained in cycle I and cycle II, and discussion of the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the image method can improve learning outcomes and identify the extent to which the fifth grade students of Lengkongbarang Elementary School. This is indicated by an increase in the top value and completeness of learning in each cycle. Permasalahan yang ada adalah adanya ketidak aktifan siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPA Siswa sekedar mengikuti pelajaran IPA yang diajarkan guru di dalam kelas, yaitu dengan hanya mendengarkan ceramah yang diberikan oleh guru tanpa adanya respon, kritik, dan pertanyaan dari siswa kepada guru sebagai feed back atau umpan balik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Keinginan siswa mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar mata pelajaran IPA cenderung menurun, aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar cenderung kurang diperhatikan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : Apakah Media gambar dalam pembelajaran IPA mengenai materi Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Makanannya di kelas V SDN Lengkongbarang dapat Meningkatkan Nilai Hasil Belajar Siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Lengkongbarang yang terdiri dari 9 orang yang terdiri dari 6 orang siswa perempuan dan 3 orang siswa laki-laki. Dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini, faktor - faktor yang diteliti adalah hasil belajar siswa. Serta tanggapan siswa terhadap model pengajaran Model Pengajaran keterampilan dengan menggunakan metode gambar. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Proses penelitian tindakan kelas ini direncanakan terdiri atas dua siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada siklus I dan siklus II, dan pembahasan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode gambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan mengidentifikasi sejauh mana siswa kelas V SDN Lengkongbarang. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai teratas dan ketuntasan belajar pada setiap siklusnya.
