DEVELOPING LOCAL CONTENT CURRICULUM BASED ON LOCAL POTENTIAL IN BENGKULU PROVINCE FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstrak
The purpose of this paper was to describe result of developing local content curriculum based on local potential for elementary school in Bengkulu Province. The method to develop it was Research and Development (R&D) method. Phases this research were data collection, planning, product developing, product testing, and product revision. The results were scope of local contents, learning outcome, and distributing of learning outcome into three grades in elementary school. The scope of local contents include local language and literature, social culture potential, and nature potential in Bengkulu Province. There were sixteen learning outcome developed that distributed to third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade. There were five learning outcome for third grade, four learning outcome for fourth grade, and seven learning outcome for fifth grade.
