Mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas V SDN 2 Selamanik Desa Selamanik Kecamatan Cipaku masih rendah, karena sebanyak 13 siswa dari 19 siswa kelas V belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan, serta berdasarkan pengamatan masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui penelitian tindakan kelas ini diperoleh hasil bahwa persentase hasil penilaian dan hasil analisis terhadap RPP pada siklus I mencapai 50% dan pada siklus II mencapai 85%. Kemampuan guru dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran pada siklus I adalah 55%, sedangkan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase 82%. Aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 56% dan pada siklus II adalah 79%. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada subtema Macam-macam peristiwa dalam kehidupan melalui model pembelajaran Learning by Doing pada siklus I mencapai 2,53, sedangkan pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan yaitu 2,80. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Learning by Doing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract.
