The research is done based on the activities in the study class, especially about the minimal activity that happen in the class. The problem that describe in the research is how using the two stay-two stray type on the cooperative learning method improve activity in the study class, especially in class XI IPS 2 SMA PGRI I Bandung for history lesson. Writer have the questions. The questions are; (1) how the planning of applying the cooperative learning method two stay-two stray type in class XI IPS 2 SMA PGRI I Bandung? (2) how the application of cooperative learning TSTS type in increasing student learning activities in class XI IPS 2 SMA PGRI I Bandung? (3) how are the raising of students learning activity in SMA PGRI I Bandung class XI IPS 2 after method cooperative learning type of TSTS being applied? (4) what can teachers do to manage the problem that happen in using learning cooperative type TSTS method? The method that being used in this research is classroom action research. The result from this research has showed that after cooperative type TSTS method being used since the 4th syclus there’s significant raising compare before cooperative type TSTS method being used. This research hopefully can become a kind of way out to support the raising student learning activity.
