MERANGSANG MINAT MEMBACA MURID-MURID PERINGKAT AWAL SEKOLAH RENDAH MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MOVIE MAKER

Abstrak
Merangsang Minat Membaca Murid-Murid Peringkat Awal Sekolah Rendah Melalui Penggunaan Movie Maker. Kemahiran membaca amat penting dan perlu dikuasai oleh murid-murid di peringkat awal sekolah rendah. Kajian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengenal pasti sama ada pengajaran membaca melalui penggunaan movie maker dapat merangsang minat murid-murid di peringkat awal sekolah rendah membaca atau tidak. Di samping itu, kajian ini juga dilakukan untuk meninjau bagaimana penggunaan movie maker dapat merangsang minat murid-murid di peringkat awal sekolah rendah membaca dan untuk mengetahui sebab mengapa penggunaan movie maker dapat merangsang minat murid-murid di peringkat awal sekolah rendah membaca. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kajian kualitatif. Responden kajian ialah murid-murid Tahun 2 Sekolah Kebangsaan Fikri, Setiu, Terengganu seramai 22 orang. Instrumen kajian yang digunakan ialah borang pemerhatian, borang soal selidik dan temu bual. Data yang diperoleh melalui pemerhatian dan temu bual dianalisis menggunakan analisis bertema. Sementara, dapatan diperolehi melalui soal selidik dianalisis secara manual menggunakan frekuensi dan peratus. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan penggunaan movie maker dapat merangsang minat membaca dalam kalangan murid-murid di peringkat awal sekolah rendah dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih seronok dan bermakna.

Abstract

Stimulate Students Interest In Reading, Early Class in Primary School Through the use Movie Maker.Reading proficiency is important and needs to be mastered by students in the early stages of primary school . This study was carried out to identify whether the teaching of reading through the use of the movie maker to stimulate students' interest in the early stages of primary school reading or not. In addition, this study was also conducted to review how the use of the movie maker can stimulate students interest in the early class of primary school reading and to find out the reason why use of the movie maker can stimulate the interest of students in the school's low ranking of early reading. This study uses qualitative research methods. Respondents in this study are 22 students from second grade, Kebangsaan Fikri School, Setiu, Terengganu. The instruments used are observation, questionnaires and interviews. The data collected through observation and interviews were analyzed using thematic analysis. Meanwhile, the results obtained from questionnaires were analyzed manually using frequencies and percentages. The results showed the use movie maker to stimulate interest in reading among students in early elementary school and learning more fun and meaningful.
