PRAKTIKAL BAHASA: PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA MELAYU DI IPT SELATAN THAILAND

Abstrak
Praktikal Bahasa: Pembelajaran Bahasa Melayu di IPT Selatan Thailand. Pengajaran bahasa, sama ada bahasa Melayu atau bahasa lainnya merangkumi empat aspek kemahiran, iaitu kemahiran lisan, kemahiran menulis, kemahiran membaca, dan kemahiran memahami. Keempat-empat aspek ini tidak semua dapat dikuasai oleh mahasiswa secara serentak, melainkan perlu melalui proses yang panjang. Hal ini terbukti daripada latihan dan kerja lapangan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa di Universiti Prince of Songkhla pada mata kuliah “Malay in Radio and Television, Malay for Tourism, dan Malay Versification”. Ketiga-tiga kursus ini mempunyai objektif pengajaran yang berlainan satu dengan lainnya. Mata kuliah Malay Radio and Television dan Malay for Tourism menekankan agar setiap mahasiswa boleh bertutur dan dapat mengucapkan kata-kata dengan betul dan tepat sesuai dengan pengucapan baku bahasa Melayu. Hal ini bertujuan supaya setiap mahasiswa tidak malu bertutur dan mempraktikkan pengucapan bahasa Melayu baku. Manakala pada mata kuliah Malay Versification diharapkan mahasiswa dapat menulis, menghasilkan dan melakonkan salah satu genre sastera yang telah dipelajari. Setelah mengikuti ketiga-tiga kursus berkenaan dengan tugasan wajib seperti latihan membaca berita dan rakaman serta mengendalikan acara-acara khas untuk mata kuliah “Radio and TV,” dan mata kuliah Malay for Tourism berupa pembentangan kertas-kertas projek mengenai tempat-tempat pelancongan dalam bentuk rakaman video. Manakala mata kuliah Malay Versification dapat membuat kumpulan buku yang dinamakan antologi. Sesuai tugas masing-masing, dapat disimpulkan bahawa ketiga-tiga kursus ini benar-benar memberangsang dan menyenangkan dalam pengajaran bahasa Melayu di peringkat pengajian tinggi kepada penutur asing.

Abstract
Practical Languages: Malay Language Learning in Southern Thailand IPT. Language teaching, either Malay or other covers four aspects of language proficiency, i.e. oral proficiency, reading skills, writing skills, and proficiency to understand. All four of these aspects are not all able to overrun by students simultaneously, but rather need to be through a long process. This is evident from the exercises and fieldwork conducted by students at Prince of Songkhla University in the subjects "Malay in Radio and Television, Malay for Tourism, and Malay Versification". All three of these courses have a different objective teaching one another. Courses in Radio and Television and the Malay Malay for Tourism emphasizes that every student can speak and be able to say the words correctly and appropriately in accordance with the pronunciation of standard Malay. It aims so that every student is not ashamed to speak the Malay language and practice the pronunciation of baku. While on the course the student is expected to Versification Malay can write, produce and casts one of the literary genres that have been studied. After following these three courses with regard to mandatory duties like exercises reading news and scored as well as controlling the typical events for courses "Radio and TV," and subjects the Malay for Tourism of the unfolding of the papers project about visitor attractions in the form of video scored. While courses Malay Versification can create a collection called anthology book. According to their respective duties, it can be concluded that all three of these courses are really memberangsang and fun in the Malay language teaching in high ranking of payroll to the foreigners.
