PENGARUH KOMPETENSI PENGURUS DAN MANFAAT EKONOMI TERHADAP PARTISIPASI ANGGOTA KOPERASI (Suatu Kasus pada Koperasi Produsen Tempe Tahu Indonesia(KOPTI) Kota Bandung )

Abstrak
The research is developed due to problem of poor competence of human
resource in cooperation, the staff and the members. It is reflected by low participation
of members and caused by poor competence of staff and low economic importance
received by members of Cooperation of Indonesian Tempe Tofu Producers of Bandung
Municipality.

Therefore, the research is aimed to find (1) to what extent staff competence
influences the degree of member participation; (2) to what extent economic importance
influences the degree of member participation in KOPTI of Bandung Municipality. The
hypotheses proposed are (1) staff competence has positive influence on the degree of
member participation; (2) economic importance has positive influence on the degree
of member participation.

The method applied in this research can be categorized as explanatory research
using methods of surveys, and analysis unit used is members of KOPTI Bandung.
As many as 39 members are selected as both sample and respondents using Two
Stage Random Sampling Technique. Data are collected through questionnaire and
literature study. And data are analyzed through regresi linier ganda and statistically
the hypotheses are tested with F test and t test.

The result of the research shows that staff competence and member
participation partially and simultaneously has positive and significant influence on
member participation.
