Abstrak
This study aims to study the implementation of Inclusive Pedagogy practice in the teaching and learning of Kajian Tempatan subject among the PISMP Social Studies students during their Phase 3 practicum. Aspects studied were knowledge and understanding of teaching, instructional planning, implementation of teaching, teaching and learning skills, attitude and personality and the professionalism values in teaching. This study used a quantitative approach using questionnaires to obtain the data. Data were then analyzed descriptively using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 22.0. The sample consisted of 41 students of Social Studies options. The findings showed that the inclusive pedagogical practices in teaching and learning skills aspect recorded the highest mean (mean = 4.06, SD = .36). Meanwhile, the two other aspects showed high means of inclusive pedagogical practices were professionalism values in teaching (mean = 4.01, SD = .40) and instructional planning (mean = 4.01, SD = .43). The aspects of implementation of teaching (mean = 3.98, SD = .45), knowledge and understanding (mean = 3.95, SD = .51) and attitude and personality (mean = 3.98, sp = .45) showed moderate level of inclusive pedagogical practices. The findings of this study showed that the teacher students have adopted elements of inclusive pedagogy during the planning and implementation of teaching and learning of Kajian Tempatan subject.
