Abstrak
The present research is to explore whether the teacher eduactors in IPG KIK is ready to implement inclucive pedagogical practices in their teaching. This paper reports the results of a survey of 52 lecturers from IPG KIK about their readiness to implement PI of the 10 constructs involved in the study. The instrument used in this research was formulated by the researcher based on Zahara Aziz dan Nik Azleena Nik Ismail(2007). The instrument has a high reliability value (0.957).The Statistical Program For Social Sciences(SPSS) 16 was used to analyse the data. Mean score and percentage was used to answer the research questions. The findings revealed that the overall mean score for the seven constructs were (mean: 3.05 sd: 0.8). The mean score for each construct is as: understanding of the teacher educators towards inclucive pedagogy(mean: 2.7 sd: 0.9)average, perception of lecturers’ towards inclucive pedagogy(mean: 2.9 sd: 0.7)average, implementation of inclucive pedagogy (mean: 3.4 sd: 0.8)high, understanding of the lecturers’ towards inclucive pedagogical practices (mean: 2.2 sd: 4.3) average, acceptance of inclucive pedagogy(mean: 2.7: sd :1.2) average, relevance of inclucive peadgogy(mean: 3.6 sd: 0.7) high, understanding towards dimensions of inclucive pedagogy (mean: 3.8 sd: 0.5)high. The high mean score indicates that the teacher educators are ready to implement inclucive pedagogical practices but they have to really understand how the inclucive elements are integrated in teaching and learning in the class room so that no students are left out in the learning process.
