Application of Contextual Approach In Natural Sciences Learning Concept To Improve Primary School Students. This study aimed to obtain the understanding of the concept of such indicators explain, classify indicator, the indicator and the indicator pointed concluded. One of the efforts is to improve understanding of concepts by applying contextual approach. Goals to be achieved in this research are: (1) obtain a description of the learning process with the application of the contextual approach to learning Natural Science to improve students' understanding of the concept. (2) obtain a description of an improved understanding of the concept of teaching students in Natural Sciences by applying a contextual approach to the learning process. This class uses Action Research Model Kemmis & Taggart conducted in two cycles. Data collection techniques used in this study is the result of observation and tests students' understanding of the concept. The results obtained, namely, the percentage of students who completed the indicator explained in the first cycle of 86.6% on the second cycle increased to 90%, classifying indicators in the first cycle of 93.3% increased to 96.6%, the indicators cited in the first cycle a 90% increase to 96.6%, and the indicator conclude the first cycle increased by 80% to 93.3%. From these data show that increasing students' understanding of the concept after learning by applying the contextual approach.
