Abstrak
This article attempts to describe the class of literate and prepare literate class design to improve the mulitiliteration students ability in elementary school. Literate classroom environment is a classroom environment that is rich with language and printed media. Literate class will make the school environment literate too. The expected from literate school is the growth literate school community finally will make the Indonesian people literate and will give the impact on the national progress and civilization. Child friendly school is an educational unit which able to ensure, fulfill, respect children's rights, and the protection of children from violence, discrimination and other abuses and to support the participation of children, especially in planning, policy, lessons learned, and a complaints mechanism.
