IMPLEMENTASI GUIDED WRITING PROCEDURE (GWP) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS PUISI DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstrak
Learning literary genre of poetry in elementary school should be directed to the goal of keeping students obtain experience nature appreciation receptive and expressive. Appreciation receptive emphasis on the enjoyment of poetry through reading, while the appreciation of the expressive emphasis on the idea of imaginative expression through writing poetry. This paper will discuss efforts to improve the ability of primary school students in writing poetry. Guided Writing Procedure (GWP) is an activity that lead students in activities to write a poetry that begins with (1) familiarisation with text, (2) Analysis of text, (3) teacher modeling, (4) capturing ideas (5) supported writing, and (6) independent writing. Through the above procedure, is expected to lead students learning at ease in the creative process of writing poetry to produce good writing. Selection and development of teaching materials include a children's poetry: Acrostic, Haiku, and Cinquain also expected to ease the burden on students to understand the shape and structure of children's poetry.
