Abstrak
In order to create a high quality generation, education should be conducted at an early age through preschool education. It is for children from birth until the age of 6 years. Preschool education becomes very important considering the intelligence potential and the basic of a one’s behavior is formed in this age. One of the educations given to children in preschool is to develop children social skills. Social skills support communication skills, academic success and adaptation in school, and strengthen peer relationships and create a positive environment for learning. Social skills also help the child to develop a positive perception of self and others. In addition to social skills, emotions play an important role in influencing social relationships. Emotions are very important in guiding children when interacting with their environment. Therefore, the development of social skills and emotional regulation should be the target of preschool education as a form of social pedagogy.
