Parental involvement in early childhood education is very important in order for pre-school teachers in their daily duties in school. This study was conducted to identify and verify the conceptual framework and determine the validity and reliability of the instruments used. The instrument used in this study is composed of 25 items that will measure five key constructs set. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was conducted in this study. Parental involvement in early childhood education can be measured by subconstructs parenting, communicating, volunteering, learning at home, decision making, and collaboration with the community. The sample consisted of 453 men and women with a range of shipping their children to nurseries between 1-2 people in a number of selected nurseries and kindergartens in several districts in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The findings of the CFA analysis found that the model used to gauge the readiness of parental involvement in early childhood education with reliability for each subconstructs between 0.78-0.86.
