Abstrak
The cooperative learning model is one among other learning models that can be applied in social studies. It comprised the steps of formulating learning objectives, determining the number of study group, designing materials to increase interdependence, defining the role of the learners to support mutual dependence, explaining the purposes, assignments and rules of cooperation, monitoring and giving assistance to learners in completing the task, intervening to teach the skills of cooperation and evaluating the quality and function of a group of learners. This learning model is the embodiment of humanistic psychology and cognitive learning. Through the steps of this learning model, learners can develop interpersonal relationships in order to support the learning results.
