Abstrak
This article aims to describe the importance of thematic approaches in the kurikulum 2013 in elementary school.This article was a literacy study using sources to get the conclusion.The thematic approach have an important role in the kurikulum 2013 in elementary school. It became the basis of learning process in the kurikulum 2013 in the elementary school. Therefore, the teacher must do understand and have skill to plan and carry out the thematic approach.
