Abstract: The Implementation Of SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual) Model To Improve The Ability Of Elementary Students’ In Performing Drama. The study is investigated based on several problems faced by students in performing drama. That students cannot perform drama well because of difficulties in expressing dialogue with the right pronunciation and intonation and playing drama with facial expression and body language. To solve these challenges, the implementation of SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual) model is applied. There are three cycles of class study that have been conducted in two meetings, namely, designing learning plan by making lesson plan, instrument, media, and preparing the properties and tools. In the implementation of learning, there are SAVI stages and elements such as somatic, auditory, visual, intellectual. As an outcome of SAVI model implementation in the class study, in cycle I, the score of students’ ability in performing drama is only 55,73 (50%) on average, but, it is increased in cycle II to 60,88 (64,70%) and finally in the score of 78,82 (94,11%) in cycle III.
Abstrak: Implementasi Model SAVI (Somatis Auditori Visual Intelektual) untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bermain Drama Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari beberapa permasalahan siswa dalam bermain drama. Siswa belum dapat mengungkapkan dialog dengan lafal dan intonasi serta pemeranan berupa ekspresi dan gestur tubuh belum tepat. Solusi yang digunakan yaitu dengan implementasi model SAVI (Somatis Auditori Visual Intelektual). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus yang terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Perencanaan pembelajaran dengan membuat RPP, instrumen, media, mempersiapkan sarana dan prasarana. Di dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran terdapat tahap dan unsur SAVI yaitu somatis, auditori, visual, intelektual. Peningkatan kemampuan bermain drama dapat dilihat dari rata-rata siklus I hanya 55,73 dengan persentase 50%, rata-rata siklus II meningkat menjadi 60,88 dengan persentase 64,70% dan rata-rata siklus III yaitu 78,82 dengan persentase 94,11%.
