Abstrak
Islam and leadership are two sides of a coin. Muslims are called “ummah”,since there is leader, and leadership. In islam, there is also a hierarchical of Islamic leadership, known as, Ra’is, Wali, Imam, Khalifat, Amir, Sulthan, Syeikh, Zu’ama. Strong Islamic leadership is major factor that contributes to the implementation of Islamic law, syari’ah, successfully. The axial principles of Islamic leadership are derived from al Qur’an and al Sunnah.
