Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: daya prediksi nilai rapor terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa jalur PMDK. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (FPTK-UPI) dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian ex-post pacto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa FPTK-UPI yang diterima melalui jalur PMDK. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara proportional stratified random sampling. Jumlah sampel adalah 119 mahasiswa. Data nilai rapor dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa dikumpulkan dengan metode dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier ganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: (1) Daya prediksi nilai rapor terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa jalur PMDK termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Besarnya daya prediksi (R) nilai rapor = 0,450 terhadap indeks prestasi belajar selama dua semester (p. = 0,01). Sedangkan terhadap indeks prestasi belajar selama empat semester, besarnya daya prediksi (R) nilai rapor = 0,395 (p. = 0,05); (2) Rerata nilai mata pelajaran komponen adaptif dalam rapor merupakan sub-prediktor yang memiliki bobot regresi terbesar.

ABSTRACT: This study was aimed to find out: predictive validity of report scores on the achievement of the students selected through the PMDK This study was carried out in the Faculty of Vocational and Technology Education of Indonesia University of Educational (FPTK-UPI) by utilizing the ex-post facto approach. The population of the study was all students of the FPTK-UPI recruited through the PMDK. Using the proportional stratified random sampling technique drew the sample. The sample consisted of 119 students. The data on the report scores and the student’s achievement were collected by using the documentation method. The data analysis techniques employed were the linear regression analysis. All the analysis were done by using the SPSS Program for Windows, version 9.00. The results of the analysis indicated that: (1) The predictive validity of the Report on the achievement of the students selected through the PMDK, are include in the categories of fair to good. The predictive validity (R) of the report scores was 0,450 on the grade point average in the first two semester (p. = 0,01). Meanwhile, the predictive validity (R) of the report scores was 0,395 on the grade point average in the first four semester (p. = 0,05); (2) The mean scores of the subject of the adaptive components in the report were sub-predictors which had the highest regression coefficient
