EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN VIDEO BASED LABORATORY PADA
PEMBELAJARAN KONSEPTUAL INTERAKTIF DALAM MENINGKATKAN
PEMAHAMAN GRAFIK DAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR LOGIS

This study purposes for testing the effectivity of video based laboratory (VBL) on an interactive conceptual instruction for increasing graphs understanding and logical thinking skill of the student. Research subject was 10th grade in one of the high schools in Sumedang District. The research method was used likes quasi experiment with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The experiment class got an interactive conceptual instruction with using VBL, while the control class got an interactive conceptual instruction without VBL. Based on the average of the N-gain normalized, was got an N-gain graphs understanding for experiment class 0,66 and control class 0,36; and N-gain for logical thinking skill for experiment class 0,67 and control class 0,40. Based on result of the differences average N-gain, it was got the explanation that using VBL on an interactive conceptual instruction, significantly more effective for increasing graphs understanding and logical thinking skills, was compared on learning process of interactive conceptual without VBL. Based on questionnaire, almost all of the students stated that the analysis movement with VBL, it was very helping for changed their mind, so that was easier for understanding the concept of motion, and understanding the relation among the interconcept which was explained in the graphs.
