Abstrak
Mantra Dalam Upacara Pesondo: Kajian Struktur Teks, Konteks Penuturan, Proses Penciptaan, Fungsi, dan Pemanfaatannya Sebagai Bahan Bahan Ajar Sastra di SMA. Tulisan ini memaparkan hasil kajian aspek struktur, konteks, penuturan, penciptaan, fungsi, dan pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran bahasa atas mantra dalam upacara pesondo. Upacara ini merupakan ritual yang menggunakan unsur mantra sebagai media untuk berkomunikasi dengan arwah leluhur. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan metode etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dari aspek struktur, mantra dalam upacara pesondo menggunakan bahasa yang sederhana dan majas perumpamaan sebagai ungkapannya. Diucapkan dengan nada sedang berirama. Memiliki rima sebagai hasil dari permainan bunyi atau gabungan dari aliterasi dan asonansi. Mantra ini hanya bisa diucapkan pada konteksnya yakni pada saat upacara pesondo berlangsung. Mantra dalam upacara pesondo dibacakan oleh seorang pande sondo yakni seorang perempuan tua yang memimpin jalannya upacara pesondo. Mantra diciptakan oleh leluhur masyarakat Kulisusu bersamaan dengan penciptaan upacara pesondo. Mantra berfungsi bagi masyarakat Kulisusu, yaitu fungsi religi, sosial, pendidikan dan sebagai proyeksi angan-angan masyarakat Kulisusu pada umumnya. Upaya pelestarian dilakukan di lingkungan pendidikan yakni di sekolah pada tingkat SMA, yaitu sebagai tempat untuk mendidik dan mengajarakna serta memperkenalkan warisan budaya atau tradisi daerah yang berupa karya sastra lisan (puisi lama) kepada generasi muda mengingat siswa adalah penerus budaya tradisi daerahnya sendiri.

Abstract

The Mantra in the Pesondo Ceremony: the study of the structure of the text, the context of the utterance, the process of creation, the function, and it is used as an ingredient of literary Materials in High School. This paper presents the results of the study of aspects of the utterance, context, structure, creation, functions, and it is used in language learning the mantra in pesondo ceremony. This ritual ceremony using mantra as a medium to communicate with the spirits of their ancestors. This research uses qualitative, descriptive and ethnographic methods. The research results show the aspects of structure, the mantra in a pesondo ceremony using simple language and imagery as a slogan. Pronounced with tone is rhythmic. Have a rhyme as a result of the game sound or a combination of alliteration and asonansi. This spell can only pronounce on the context i.e. at pesondo ceremony takes place. A spell in a ceremony that was read by a pande sondo: an old woman who led the pesondo ceremony. The spell was created by the ancestors of the community with the creation of ceremonial Kulisusu within pesondo ceremony. The spell works for the public religious functions, social, education and as a projection of wishful thinking society Kulisusu in General. The preservation effort done in the educational environment in the school at the high school level, i.e. as a place to educate and mengajarakna as well as introduce cultural heritage or traditions of the area in the form of oral literature (poetry) to the younger generation remember the students cultural traditions is the successor to the area itself.
