MODEL BIMBINGAN PENGEMBANGAN KARIR (Studi Pengembangan Model Bimbingan Pengembangan Karir untuk Siswa Tunarungu di SLB-B Bandung)

Abstrak
Penelitian ini diangkat dari fenomena lapangan, bahwa sebagian besar kebutuhan yang dirasakan siswa tunarungu tentang karir belum mendapatkan pemenuhan dalam pelaksanaannya dan belum terprogram secara baik, masih dikaitkan dengan program atau kegiatan mata pelajaran. Sementara itu tuntutan kebutuhan karir yang dirasakan siswa secara nyata masih terabaikan. Guru bimbingan dan konseling masih mengalami kesukaran dalam merumuskan dan mengembangkan materi pelaksanaan bimbingan yang akan diimplementasikan. Untuk menjawab fenomena tersebut perlu diadakan studi yang terpercaya dengan cara memberikan gambaran yang jelas pada guru pembimbing tentang bagaimana model bimbingan pengembangan karir untuk siswa tunarungu di Sekolah Luar Biasa bagian Tunarungu di Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan rumusan model bimbingan pengembangan karir untuk siswa tunarungu di Sekolah Luar Biasa Bandung. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), yang dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan layanan bimbingan pengembangan karir yang mengacu kepada tiga aspek pengembangan karir yaitu 1) Kompetensi kebutuhan, dan kesadaran diri akan potensi karir, indikator: (a) Kesadaran diri (self awareness), (b) Kesadaran pendidikan (educational awareness), (c) Kesadaran karir (career awareness), (d) Kesadaran ekonomi (economic awareness). 2) Kompetensi persepsi yang realistis tentang dunia kerja, indikator: (a) Pembuatan keputusan (decision making), (b) Kompetensi-kompetensi awal (beginning competencies). 3) Kompetensi dapat menghubungkan dengan dunia kerja, indikator: (a) Keterampilan kecakapan bekerja (employability skills), (b) Sikap dan apresiasi (attitudes and appreciations). Penelitian ini mengikut sertakan guru kelas, guru keterampilan, guru pembimbing, dan kepala sekolah untuk merumuskan model bimbingan perkembangan karir untuk siswa tunarungu di Sekolah Luar Biasa di Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, penerapan model bimbingan pengembangan karir efektif untuk mengembangkan karir siswa tunarungu di SLB-B. Indikator efektivitas ditandai oleh, 1) pemenuhan kebutuhan, kesadaran diri, pendidikan, karir, ekonomi pembuatan keputusan, keterampilan kecakapan bekerja, 2) pandangan yang realistis tentang dunia kerja, berkeinginan mengembangkan diri dalam karir, dan 3) mampu menghubungkan dirinya dengan dunia kerja, serta mempunyai sikap dan apresiasi. Model bimbingan pengembangan karir ini direkomundasikan untuk diimplementasikan di Sekolah Luar Biasa Spesialisasi tunarungu (SLB-B) Bandung.

Abstract, removed from the research field phenomenon, that most of the perceived needs of deaf students about careers do not get fulfillment in practice and has not been programmed properly, is still associated with a program or activity of subjects. Meanwhile career demands that students perceived significantly is neglected. Guidance and counseling teachers still experience difficulty in formulating and developing implementation guidance materials that will be implemented. To answer these phenomena should be held reliable studies by providing a clear picture of the guidance counselor about how to model the development of career guidance to students in Deaf students in the School of Deaf Extraordinary section in Bandung. This study aims to find formulation model career development guidance for deaf students in Bandung Extraordinary School. The research approach used is research and development (Research and Development), which is intended to enhance the career development of guidance that refers to three aspects of career development: 1) Competency needs, and self-awareness of the potential careers, indicators: (a) self-awareness , (b) Awareness education , (c) awareness of career , (d) Awareness of economic. 2) Competence realistic perception of the world of work, the indicators: (a) making decision , (b) initial competencies (competencies beginning). 3) Competence to connect with the world of work, the indicators: (a) skills working skills (employability skills), (b) attitude and appreciation .Research is to involve classroom teachers, teacher skills, teacher mentors, and principals to formulate a model of career development guidance for deaf students in the Extraordinary School in Bandung. The results showed that, the application of the model guidance effective career development for deaf students develop careers in SLB-B. Indicators of effectiveness is characterized by, 1) the fulfillment of needs, self-awareness, education, career, economic decision making, skill work skills, 2) a realistic view of the world of work, wants to develop themselves in a career, and 3) be able to associate himself with the world of work, and have the attitude and appreciation. Model of career development guidance is recommended to be implemented in the School of Deaf Extraordinary Specialization (SLB-B) Bandung.
