Abstrak
This research was conducted to dertermine the number of the ideal practice learning group members to improve the students’ achievement. The method done in this research was quantitative method. In accordance with the writer’s job, the population and sample in this research was chosen from the class where the writer teaches. The population and sample were the students class XI majored in Electrical Technique at SMK N 3 Jambi in the academic year 2019/2020 which consisted of 30 students proporsionally chosen from each group. The technique used to analise the data was assosiative technique, based on the provided data. The writer wanted to know how far the relationship between the number of the students in one group practice towards the students’ achievement. Based on the calculation was obtained the value r = 0,9734, by checking table value “r” product moment for dk = 30 -2 =28 at sinificant level 5% was obtained rtable = 41,337; while at significant level 1% was obtained rtable 48,278 because rxy or ro at the level of value 5% was larger than rt even at level of sognificant 1% the value ro keeps on larger than rt so Ho was rejected, while Ha was accepted or agreed. The value of rxy = 0,9734 that was between 0,800 until 1,000 was integrated that the level of the relatoinship between the two variables was hight or strongly related.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan jumlah anggota kelompok belajar praktek yang ideal untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Sesuai dengan bidang tugas yang penulis lakukan maka populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih dari kelas dimana penulis mengajar. Populasi dan sampel adalah siswa Program Keahlian Teknik Listrik kelas XI pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 3 Jambi tahun diklat 2019/2020 sebanyak 30 siswa dari tiap kelompok yang dipilih secara proporsional. Teknik yang digunakan dalam menganalisa data adalah teknik asosiatif berdasarkan data yang ada. Penulis ingin mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan antara jumlah anak dalam satu kelompok kerja praktek terhadap nilai hasil belajar siswa. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai r = 0,9734, dengan memeriksa tabel nilai “r” product moment untuk dk = 30 -2 = 28 pada taraf signifikasi 5% diperoleh r tabel = 41,337; sedangkan pada taraf signifikasi 1% diperoleh rtabel = 48,278 karena rxy atau ro pada taraf signifikasi 5% lebih besar dari rtabel atau rt bahkan pada taraf signifikasi 1% nilai ro tetap lebih besar dari rt maka Ho ditolak, sedangkan Ha diterima atau disetujui. Harga rxy = 0,9734 yang terletak diantara 0,800 sampai 1,000 diinterprestasikan bahwa tingkat hubungan kedua variabel tersebut adalah tinggi atau berkorelasi kuat.
