PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS NARASI DENGAN METODE RECOLLOCTION SMART TEACHING (RST) PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstrak
Abstract: Increasing of Writing Narrative Ability with Recolloction Smart Teaching (RST) Method to Elementary School Student. The purpose of this research is to describe the preparation, the implementation and evaluation of the writing narrative learning that used Recolloction Smart Teaching (RST) method to increase the students’ ability of elementary school to write narrative. This research used qualitative and quantitative approach in the type of classroom action research. The research prosedure through preparation, implementation, observation and reflection in every cycles. The result for the planning of first cycle was 61% and for the planning of the second one was 96%. The increase for teacher and students’ activities is 67% in the first cycle to 89% for the second one. The average of students’ scores in the first cycle as prewriting stage 64%, writing 60%, after writing 66%, the final 63%. And for the second cycle as prewriting stage 77%, writing 79%, after writing 79%, the final 78%. The conclusion of this research is RST can increase the abilty of the students of elementary school to write narrative. Therefore, I recommended RST to all teachers in elementary school to increase students’ ability and interest in writing narrative.

Abstrak: Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Narasi dengan Metode Recolloction Smart Teaching (RST) pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran menulis narasi dengan metode Recolloction Smart Teaching (RST) sehingga dapat menunjang peningkatan kemampuan menulis narasi siswa SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Prosedur penelitian dilaksanakan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil perencanaan siklus I 61%, perencanaan siklus II 96%. Hasil pengamatan guru dan siswa siklus I 67%, perencanaan siklus II 89%. Rata-rata nilai siswa siklus I pada tahap prapenulisan 64%, penulisan 60%, pascapenulisan 66%, dan hasil akhir 63%. Rata-rata nilai siswa siklus II pada tahap prapenulisan 77%, penulisan 79%, pascapenulisan 79%, dan hasil akhir 78%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah metode RST dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis narasi siswa SD. Maka, disarankan agar guru menggunakan metode pembelajaran ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis narasi.
