PENERAPAN PROBLEM BASED UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA DI KELAS IX MTs NEGERI I LAMPUNG TENGAH

Abstrak
Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian tentang pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning denagn materi berbagai sistem dalam tubuh manusia di kelas IX MTs Negeri I Lampung Tengah. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September 2014. Adapun siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 36 orang. Jenis penelitian mengunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tiga siklus. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Problem Based Learning meningkatkan aktivitas siswa, dengan skor rata-rata setiap siklus berturut-turut yaitu 75,7%, 81,0%, dan 85,1%, (2) Problem Based Learning meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata setiap siklus berturut-turut 66,67; 72,25, dan 76,80 (3) jumlah siswa yang tuntas setiap siklus berturut-turut 19 siswa (52,78 %), 28 siswa (77,78 %), dan 34 siswa (94,44 %). Kesimpulan keaktifan dalam proses belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar, dan PBL dapat membantu siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar.This article aims to describe the results of research on science learning by applying the learning model Problem-Based Learning denagn material of various systems in the human body in class IX MTs Lampung Tengah.Penelitian conducted in September 2014. As for the students who are the subject of this study amounted to 36 people , This type of research using action research in three cycles. Data were collected using the method of observation, documentation, and testing. The results showed that: (1) Problem Based Learning enhances the activity of the students, with an average score of each successive cycle, namely 75.7%, 81.0%, and 85.1%, (2) Problem Based Learning improve results student learning with an average each successive cycles 66.67; 72.25, and 76.80 (3) the number of students who completed each successive cycle of 19 students (52.78%), 28 students (77.78%), and 34 students (94.44%). Conclusions active in the learning process a positive effect on learning outcomes, and PBL can help students achieve mastery learning.
