H.P.BERLAGE: SUATU REFLEKSI DARI HISTORI DAN IDEOLOGI

Hendrik Petrus Berlage is a Dutch architect, born in Amsterdam on February 21, 1856. Berlage was established in 1905, when he published his work entitled Gedanken, who later revised and published in 1908, under the title Grundlagen. Both works were shown the context and the values that set forth the concept and idea space (architecture) a new, different from before. Berlage, defines the principles of the new architecture, on the basis of world views and ideology, that architecture should be based on social equality for all mankind, especially the workers.
