Abstrak
Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dalam arti luas bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kepribadian siswa sehingga dapat melangkah ke jalur profesional yang diminati. Tujuannya untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang konsep-konsep IPA dan saling keterkaitannya serta mampu menerapkan keterampilan proses dalam memecahkan masalah kehidupan sehari-hari. Pembelajaran tipe bertukar pasangan setiap siswa mendapatkan satu pasangan, kemudian guru memberikan tugas dan siswa mengerjakan tugas dengan pasangannya. Setelah selesai, setiap pasangan bergabung dengan satu pasangan yang lain, kedua pasangan tersebut bertukar pasangan, masing-masing pasangan yang baru saling menanyakan dan mengukuhkan jawaban mereka, temuan yang didapatkan dari pertukaran pasangan kemudian dibagikan kepada pasangan semula. hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dilihat dari skor yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II. Skor rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 68 dan skor rata-rata pada siklus II adalah 82, artinya terjadi peningkatan skor rata-rata sebesar 15. Dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan terhadap siswa pun terjadi perubahan dalam setiap siklusnya, yang menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih baik antara siklus I dengan siklus II. Abstract.
