Abstrak The core of education is student’s learning process in the classroom. This statement puts teachers in a frontier position as they act as managers for their students. To enhance the quality of education, it is crucial to improve the classroom learning activities, including the application of instructional models chosen and developed by the teachers. The research problem is the lack of instructional model developed by the teacher who teaches ethics education at Islamic High School (MAN) 2 Cirebon. In this case, lecture and question-response methods have been dominant in instructional activities, leading to unsatisfactory learning outcomes. It is therefore necessary to develop and apply an instructional model that enables teacher to enhance the quality of student’s learning outcomes.
