Abstrak
This research begins from the problem which happened in the class X MIA 2 SMAN 26 Bandung. Based on the result of observation wich conducted by the researcher, founded that the student activity and ability in expressing opinions in this class on the teaching of history is still relatively low. To improve the problem, researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR ) by design from Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Formulation of the problem in this research is "How is the application question technique in the teaching of history can increase the ability of students to express opinion in class X MIA 2 SMAN 26 Bandung?". Based on research conducted during four cycles, it can be concluded that the application of question technique can improve the activity and the student's ability to expressing their opinions, even though the four cycles decreased slightly due to the factor to unpreparedness of students and instructional media to be used. Therefore, question technique can be used as one of the recommendations to solving the problems in particular learning activities and students ability to expressing opinions.
