Abstrak
Minithesis entitled "Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Concept Attainment Untuk Meningkatan Keterampilan Berpikir Kesejarahan siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah (penelitian tindakan kelas di kelas X-IPS SMA Puragabaya Bandung)” is motivated by the lack of achievement of students in history lesson and the lack of awareness of class X-IPS in historical thinking in the teaching of history, the results are based on each student's learning outcomes under specified SKBM. So this was caused by a lack of awareness of the historical thinking about the concepts learned. Objectives to be accomplished by the author of this study is, 1) To describe the learning plan ConceptAttainment in teaching history in high school social studies class X-Puragabaya Bandung. 2) To describe the implementation of the Concept Attainment model of learning that can be applied to the student in the learning process in the history of high school social studies class X-Puragabaya Bandung. 3) To describe the historical understanding of students' increased activity after using ConceptAttainment learning model in teaching history-social studies class X SMA Puragabaya Bandung. 4) To describe the teachers' efforts to overcome the obstacles facing students in the use ConceptAttainment learning model of teaching history in the classroom X-IPS. The method used in this research is action research class and adopt the idea of Kemmis and Mc Taggart, data obtained by the researcher based on the open-air observation and direct assessment of historical thinking skills that have been agreed in advance, from this study it can be concluded that the application of Concept Attainment learning methods to improve students' historical thinking skills is effective and efficient. This is indicated by the increase in learning outcomes and the quality of the learning process in each cycle.
