HUBUNGAN PENERAPAN METODE DISKUSI DENGAN KEAKTIFAN SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH (Studi Korelasional Pada Siswa Kelas XI Sekolah Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sukamanah)

Abstrak
This research came from author’s anxiety about student’s activity that had less location in learning process. To make learning more fun and building the student motivation in learning history, the students should be involved in the learning processing. So the teacher should be clever in choosing methods that can build student activity. Some opinions of the methods can increase the activity of students in the teaching of history is a discussion methods. So the writer should do the research, entitled " Relation between the Implementation Discussion Methods and Student Motivation in Learning History (Correlational Studies from Class XI Students of Madrasah Aliyah Sukamanah School)". Because that, the writer use a correlation method to determine the relationship of the student discussion method and student motivation in learning history. Results Prodect Moment correlation analysis test using SPSS 16.0, then the application of the discussion methods and student activity has a significant relationship, and high positive (direction) and a correlation coefficient is 0.611. Its Meaning that the method of discussion is better, so the activity of students is better too in learning history.
