The digital learning technology has evolved from E-Learning to M-Learning, and U-Learning in recent years. However, this technology has not created the desired awareness in teaching paradigms. The concept of ubiquitous learning has become an important topic and a breakthrough in the field of education. Being aware of U-Learning for example, is very different from the normal process. It enables learners to perform learning activities in real physical environment, complemented with technology, instead of virtual worlds, and not being connected to any specific physical place. Similarly, M-Learning was expected to deliver content, yet not specifically designed for interacting, with real objects and context. In this regard, this paper proposes the ‘U-Learning enabled Near Field Communication (NFC)' technology concept as part of the evolution of M-Learning - enhancing the interactive teaching activities in the class, and enabling touching technologies. Embracing this technology is expected to facilitate and improve more interactive and ubiquitous learning.
